The Town Of Foyil Oklahoma

First settled in the late 1800's

Alfred Foyil who the town is named after was the first to establish the town and became the town's first postmaster in 1890. Route 66 was crated in 1926 that brought prosperity and growth to Foyil.

Foyil is known for the historical foot race that was won by a Foyil resident Andrew H. Payne in 1928 and the largest concrete totem pole created by Ed Galloway.
